MINI´«Ă˝SA:  Our Commitment

Chancellor Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., issued Thursday (July 9) the following update to the MINI´«Ă˝ Administration on transitioning to Phase II operations during the coronavirus pandemic.

Letter from Chancellor Mitchell:

Dear MINI´«Ă˝ Administration family,

I hope you are staying safe and doing well. I wanted to reach out and provide a quick update.

First, I would like to thank you for your help, cooperation and compliance with the protocols we have established at the MINI´«Ă˝ Building to provide a safe work environment for our team. Our continued commitment to a healthy and safe return is not possible without your support—and for that I am thankful.

After consulting with our leadership team, we have confirmed our previously communicated timeline that beginning next week on Monday, July 13, the MINI´«Ă˝ Administration will move into Phase II of our phased-in return in the MINI´«Ă˝ System Building and other work locations. Our Phase II operations includes a partial physical work presence of up to 50 percent workforce capacity.

Our vice chancellors and department leaders have done a great job communicating with their teams, coordinating times and schedules in the building for their respective team members and providing guidance during challenging times for everyone.

If you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to familiarize yourself with our , where you will find further information, protocols and our for our commitment to a safe return for the MINI´«Ă˝ Administration. With additional people in the building we must stay vigilant in wearing our face coverings, continuing to implement social distancing and hold meetings virtually whenever possible.

We are continuing to closely monitor the coronavirus pandemic, its impact on our community, region and state, along with our institutions diligent planning and preparation for the upcoming semester. We remain in constant contact and in discussion with our System and university leaders as strategy and next steps are formed in this very fluid and ever-changing landscape.
