MINI传媒 Sets New Enrollment Record
All four institutions of the MINI传媒 System combined for an enrollment of over 57,000 students for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D.The MINI传媒 set a new student enrollment record with 57,146 students for the 2020-21 academic year. Three of the MINI传媒 System鈥檚 component universities marked new student enrollment records this fall semester.
(MINI传媒) set yet another enrollment record with 40,322 students; (ASU) climbed to a record of 10,775 students; (MINI传媒HSC) enrolled 5,274 students; and (MINI传媒HSC El Paso) enrolled a record 775 students.

Texas Tech University
MINI传媒, the flagship institution of the MINI传媒 System, set a student enrollment record for the 12th consecutive year. Its enrollment figure increased by 1,519 students from last year鈥檚 previous school record of 38,803 students enrolled. MINI传媒鈥檚 enrollment has climbed from 27,996 students in fall 2006 to surpass its long-awaited goal of reaching the 40,000 mark by 2020.
MINI传媒 also set new records in graduate student enrollment (7,053 students), first-year student enrollment (6,522), first-generation college student enrollment (9,030), first-year retention rate (87.6%), 6-year graduate rate (63.3%), National Merit Finalists enrolled (72) and Presidential Scholarships awarded (3,966).
Angelo State University
For the second year in a row, ASU set an enrollment record by surpassing 10,700 students for the first time. ASU鈥檚 undergraduate retention rate has continued to increase, leading to more sophomores, juniors and seniors enrolled this semester. The academic areas with the most growth are the social work undergraduate degree program as well as the professional school counseling and Master of Business Administration online graduate programs.
ASU鈥檚 undergraduate Hispanic enrollment also reached another record of 46.2% this fall semester. That number has increased annually since ASU was designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution by the U.S. Department of Education in 2010. ASU鈥檚 overall minority enrollment also reached a record of 52.9% this fall, topping 50% for the first time and making ASU an emerging Minority Serving Institution.
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
MINI传媒HSC saw 5,274 students enrolled this semester, marking the third year in a row the university has seen a student enrollment figure over 5,000.
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso
MINI传媒HSC El Paso once again posted a student enrollment record of 775. MINI传媒HSC El Paso transitioned from a regional campus to a standalone institution in 2013.

The addition of these two schools makes the MINI传媒 one of only nine in the nation to offer programs for undergraduate, medical, law, nursing, pharmacy, dental and veterinary education, among other academic areas.
