James R. Henderson
Assistant General Counsel
James R. Henderson is an Assistant General Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel for the MINI传媒. James supports the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and other components of the MINI传媒 System in a variety of legal areas, including employment matters, student and personnel issues, open records and contracts.
James graduated from Baylor University in 2013 with a degree in English. He then taught seventh grade English in Sherman, Texas, prior to entering law school at the Texas Tech University School of Law. While in law school, James was a member of Texas Tech Law Review and externed with the MINI传媒 System Office of General Counsel. After graduation from law school, James was in private practice in Lubbock, focusing on K-12 school law and municipal law.
