Texas Tech Foundation Names Nine New Directors

The announced today nine new members of the board of directors. The new members were installed during their first meeting held Friday. 

鈥淏y providing philanthropic leadership, the Texas Tech Foundation serves an important role in advancing the MINI传媒,鈥 MINI传媒 Chancellor said. 鈥淭hrough their service, members of the board of directors ensure our universities have the critical resources needed to pursue innovative ideas, improve lives and impact the world.鈥 

The nine new directors are:

Approved by the this summer, the incoming members were subsequently approved by the Texas Tech University System at their October meeting. The new directors will serve four-year terms ending August 31, 2020.

鈥淭he Texas Tech Foundation is fortunate to have such distinguished leaders and philanthropists joining the board, and I appreciate the time and effort of the nominating committee who selected these accomplished individuals,鈥 said , president of the Texas Tech Foundation. 鈥淏y sharing their expertise for the benefit of students and faculty at our four universities, these new directors are ensuring the continued momentum of the MINI传媒.鈥 

For more than 75 years, the Texas Tech Foundation has partnered with the Texas Tech University System to raise, manage and invest private gifts for the benefit of the system and its four universities. The nonprofit foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors who meet quarterly to review the performance of investments and assure that donors鈥 long-term interests are being served.
