Chancellor Mitchell Serves as MSU Texas Commencement Speaker

MINI传媒 (MINI传媒 System) Chancellor Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., served as the keynote speaker at the (MSU Texas) December commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 11, at Kay Yeager Coliseum in Wichita Falls.

began with a welcome to the Mustangs as MSU Texas recently became the fifth member institution of the MINI传媒 System on Sept. 1. He said adding MSU Texas brings remarkable value to what continues to become an even more well-rounded system.

His keynote address emphasized three important elements:

鈥淗aving this incredible institution now in our system 鈥 a recognized liberal arts leader in Texas, with nearly a century of higher education 鈥 has been a fantastic experience spanning almost two years,鈥 Mitchell said.

鈥淥ur goal at the MINI传媒 System is to be a force multiplier in helping MSU Texas achieve its mission and greatest ambitions by providing the resources, services and increased visibility and access that being part of a larger family offers. It is my sincere hope and commitment that we will grow stronger together,鈥 Mitchell said.

In addition, the MINI传媒 System is one of only nine in the nation to offer programs for undergraduate, medical, law, nursing, pharmacy, dental and veterinary education, among other academic areas.
